Rolled in here at 6:30am and the place was quiet. We expected it to be like Midland and busy. You folks in Odessa are missing out. This will be the best breakfast you eat and the lunch menu is delicious as well! Dawn is amazing. Best server we’ve had in the Permian basin.

I dropped in for breakfast and sat at the counter. It is remarkable to watch the dance. Staff are busy, the kitchen is humming, everyone is incredibly friendly and super-efficient! The food came quickly and I HIGHLY recommend the carnitas breakfast skillet. Out of this world. And the bottomless coffee makes my world complete! Twilight is my girl!!!’ Cannot say enough good about Jimmy’s Egg. can I give it a 10?

Clean and fresh with fast service and delicious food. Avocado toast with eggs and a side, and my husband has his usual. This is a route we often take to visit family so we’ll be back!

I love that this place is clean ppl are friendly and respectful tea and coffee is always fresh food is alway hot and service is always good

The atmosphere was awesome and our waitress was as sweet as can be. The food was very yummy and would definitely be coming back soon.

We come in every Saturday and Dawn waits on us and she is awesome. The food is so good and the people that work here are great. One of our favorite places to have breakfast and Dawn is an amazing person. We haven’t had anything here we didn’t like. We love sharing a Naughty Irishman.

Our first time here, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was hot and tasty. And they have mimosa!! Who doesn't enjoy a good mimosa. We had pancakes, omelet and cinnamon rolls ( accidentally left my cinnamon roll as I was already full, so can't really comment much on it. ) Everything else was wonderful though. No complaints.

Visiting Odessa and looking for an early breakfast when I came across Jimmy’s Egg which opens at 6a. Nice location, plenty of parking and a comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated dining area. Plenty of seating in booths, tables or at the counter. This is definitely a “locals” hangout. Everything is clean and organized, and you can see right into the kitchen. The dining room walls are decorated with Texas themed art and slogans. Most of the art work is by “Ace Walker Art” from Oklahoma, where Jimmy’s Egg started. My server Tiffany was charming, attentive and efficient. I ordered the meat lovers omelette which was good but ordinary. I would have preferred a little more meat and would have considered a different cheese if that was an option. Regardless, it was served hot, expertly cooked and beautifully plated. The grits and sliced tomato complemented the omelette perfectly. I was disappointed that the restaurant does not offer real butter for the grits, instead serving the grits with a spread which is 48% vegetable oil, so I ate them with a little salt and pepper. Overall a very nice experience. An excellent menu, opens early, clean and organized, and GREAT service (thank you Tiffany). I’ll be back.
